GO GREEN!

GO GREEN!
Use recycled materials, found objects or even scrap pieces to create eye catching jewelry. Many people are concerned with the environment's deterioration and are looking for ways to protect the earth’s precious resources. As designers we know how valuable stones and metals can be to us, and that we gather some of our best inspiration from natures beauty. This GO GREEN project will not only be beneficial on a personal level, but will be a great way to let others know how team Filigree is doing their part to help reduce waste. Let’s show everyone that we truly appreciate the amazing beauty that surrounds us by designing a GO GREEN masterpiece.

Please post projects between April 1 - 15th so we can have a team post ready by Earth Day!(April 22) Our team post will collage all of the member's projects together to showcase our work as a whole! Be sure to let everyone know what materials you used to create your piece! So excited about this project I can't wait!

Dragonfly Spring Necklace

Even though I live in the desert, Dragonflys are one of the first signs of Spring. I liberally sprinkled this necklace with dragonflys and Swarovski crystals in pastel colors. The bottom drop is a faceted amethyst.

Bloom Where You Are Planted

As I watch the snow melt away, I envision
the plants and flowers that will soon be emerging
from the soil. They will bloom where once they
were planted to fill my yard with color and life
again after this long cold winter. I cannot wait
to see the first buds break through the soil!

Easter Treat

Another addition for the Spring's Melody collection.
A beautiful soft pastel purple stone cab is delicately
wrapped in filigree like a foil wrapped Easter treat.
Hippity Hop...Easter is on its way!

Aranwen's Jewelry "Spring's Melody" design

Hello!

This is my contribution to "Spring's Melody". I'm crazy about cameos, and this project couldn't be any different! This cuff features a lovely lady with flowers in her hair, gazing outside her window where beautiful butterflies fly in celebration of Spring.

Gorgeous filigree all across the cuff, with a bit of ivory on the cameo and the pearl.
